CONFIRMATION OF FIXTURES AND COMMUNICATION
Despite a reminder in the last league minutes, some home clubs are still not confirming fixtures with opponents 4 days before the date of the fixture. This is contrary to Rule 10d of the league rules and any clubs found guilty of breaching this rule will be fined £10.
I realise that the current bad weather has provided little chance of most games going ahead but it would help if contact was made as per the above rule and then an update given on the Friday on the liklehood of the game being on.
Please remember, good communication can save a lot of time and trouble for clubs who have to keep players informed about travelling etc
