Double bubble

In the afternoon the crowds continued to grow in the blistering heat and were treated to a brilliant display of grassroots football by two very good, strong teams.

An early lead by Feniscowles and Pleasington shaped how this game was going to go but a valiant fightback by Read United wasn't quite enough as Feniscowles managed to follow their league championship with a 4-2 victory to secure the Presidents cup.

A good day was had by all and its congratulations on a fantastic double winning season to Feniscowles and Pleasington and commiserations to Read United
